Profile-building (9th-11th): Content and frequency of meetings is determined by your needs. Typically in 9th and 10th grades, meetings are a few times a year and focus on course selection as well as extracurricular and summer activity guidance. If desired, I assist with summer activity applications. Students complete self-assessment exercises 1-2 times per year to reflect and deepen their self-awareness, all of which bears fruit during the application process.
4
Application preparation (11th-12th): Starting in junior year or the summer before, meetings and communication becomes more frequent. We begin to work on your list, consider testing strategies, and develop campus tour plans. At some point during the second half of junior year, we schedule regular meetings and work on college essays and all parts of the application. We prototype your experience at each college and co-create detailed questions you need answered.
Student matriculate at a deeply researched institution that aligns with your values

Pre-career coaching (college):Throughout college we have check-ins to cover course selection, internship applications, research applications, and clubs to commit to. Resume building and interview preparation occur as needed. Students complete self-assessment exercises 1-2 times per year and we adjust plans accordingly.
